DVIF&G; Quoted in Conceive Magazine On IVF Innovations
Dr. George S. Taliadouros, MD, medical director of the Delaware Valley Institute of Fertility & Genetics (DVIF&G;), and Jessica A. Macdonald, B.S., T.S. (ABB), DVIF&G; laboratory supervisor and embryologist, were recently quoted in the Spring 2007 issue of Conceive Magazine, a national publication dedicated to providing cutting-edge information to couples hoping to start a family.
The article, “IVF Innovations,” discusses seven in vitro fertilization (IVF) advances, including in vitro maturation (IVM). Until recently, the ability to effectively culture and mature immature eggs (oocytes), IVM was not an option for infertility practices in the United States. To be successful, embryologists must be versed to this complicated technique through training and practice, the culture system must be appropriate, and the laboratory conditions stellar.
DVIF&G; is one of only a handful of infertility practices across the country (and the only one in New Jersey and the regions surrounding it) now offering this revolutionary technique to patients through its START (Success Through Assisted Reproductive Technologies) program.
Founded in 1994, DVIF&G; offers comprehensive infertility care. The practice has offices in Marlton, NJ, Lawrenceville, NJ, and Vineland, NJ.
