loss; nutritional counseling; and psychological support. Founded
in 1994 by George S. Taliadouros, M.D., FACOG, president, the Delaware
Valley Institute of Fertility & Genetics is one of the leading fertility
practices in South Jersey.
George
S. Taliadouros, M.D. is
the founder and director of the Delaware Valley Institute
of Fertility & Genetics (DVIF&G),
with offices in Marlton, Vineland, and Lawrenceville. He is
an assistant clinical professor at the University of Medicine
and Dentistry of New Jersey—Robert Wood Johnson University
Hospital. An expert in reproductive medicine, Dr. Taliadouros
pioneered the use of advanced reproductive technologies in
the South Jersey area.
Before
coming to New Jersey in 1988, Dr. Taliadouros held research
and clinical fellowships in reproductive medicine at the
National Institutes of Health and Case Western Reserve University.
He is actively engaged in innovating research and is the
author of several scientific articles on reproductive endocrinology.
The success that his patients have experienced is the result
of the balance between the latest effective technological
advances and an individual detailed analysis of the couple’s
needs. |
Joining
Dr. Taliadouros on the DVIFG team are:
Chung
H. Wu, M.D., FACOG, directs DVIF&G’s PCOS Early Detection
and Treatment Program. As a former professor of Obstetrics
and Gynecology and Director of the Division of Reproductive
Endocrinology at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia,
Dr. Wu has been at the forefront in educating the medical profession
about lifestyle choices and insulin resistance, a leading cause
of infertility and other health problems.
Dr. Wu has practiced
medicine for three decades in the tri-state area and has
published numerous articles in medical journals on various
infertility topics. He also is a member of the Virtua Health
System’s
OB/GYN Department, the Cooper Health System’s
OB/GYN Department, and the South Jersey Health System’s
OB/GYN Department.

| David Corley MD, FACOG An expert in early pregnancy loss and gestational wellness, David R. Corley, M.D., FACOG, was awarded a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology at the University of Louisville School of Medicine OB/GYN department.
He graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine, and received his postgraduate training at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth Charette Health Care Center and at the University of Louisville School of Medicine.
He has performed medical research and clinical work at the University of Louisville School of Medicine, Kansas University Medical Center, and while serving as a reproductive endocrinologist for the U.S. Navy.
Dr. Corley’s research has been published in medical journals and in medical books. He also has taught at the Medical University of South Carolina, at the University of Louisville School of Medicine, and at the University of Kansas School of Medicine.
He joined DVIF&G in 2004 as Director of the Early Pregnancy Loss and Gestational Wellness program. As a reproductive endocrinologist with 15 years of experience, he also brings his knowledge and expertise to treat patients with various underlying causes of infertility. |
| Sangita K. Jindal Ph.D. Accredited by the American Association of Bioanalysts as a High Complexity Lab Director (HCLD), Sangita K. Jindal, Ph.D, is responsible for maintaining DVIF&G’s high standards of quality and success in its state-of-the-art lab facilities.
In addition to her clin-ical responsibilities, Dr. Jindal is dedicated to improving care for fertility patients and is currently conducting research into the phe-nomenon of ovarian aging. She has been awarded several grants in this area and has published her work in peer-reviewed sci-entific journals.
Dr. Jindal received her Ph.D in reproductive physiology at the University of Toronto’s Banting and Best Institute of Medical Research, where her focus was on the role of growth factors in ovarian cancer.
She has worked as Laboratory Director and Senior Embryologist for IVF programs at UMDNJ-Newark, Hackensack University Medical Center, and Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Jindal is currently appointed as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of OB/GYN & Women’s Health at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City.
Dr. Jindal is licensed as a laboratory di-rector by the New York State Department of Health and the New Jersey State Board of Medical Examiners. She is an active member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine and the NY Metro Embryologist Society.
Dr. Jindal joined DVIF&G in 2004 as Director of the Endocrine, Andrology, and Embryology labs. |
Debra
Ettinger, Ph.D. was awarded the Graduate School Fellowship
for Dissertation Research at Temple University, where she earned
her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology. She has conducted individual,
couples, and family therapy in community clinic, in-patient,
agency, managed care, medical and private practice settings for
over 14 years. Dr. Ettinger also has taught graduate level courses
in marriage and family therapy and clinical fieldwork and has
conducted numerous counseling intervention trainings for residential
caregivers and mental health professionals.
Currently, Dr. Ettinger
is an adjunct professor with Temple University’s
Counseling Psychology Program and is a Licensed Professional
Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey. Her training in psychology and
family therapy, as well as her current clinical approach, emphasizes
a family therapy/systems perspective.
A long-standing member
of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine and in private
practice since 1995, Dr. Ettinger has extensive experience
in counseling people on how to deal with the uncertainty of infertility
and other medical conditions.
She joined DVIF&G
in September 2002 as Director of Medical and Behavioral Therapy.

Melissa Bennett, RD,
CDE is a registered
dietitian, Certified Diabetes Educator, and board-certified
medical nutrition therapist. As a DVIF&G staff medical
nutritional therapist, Ms. Bennett offers nutritional counseling
and educational literature to help patients lose weight and
improve metabolic control in order to boost conception.
She received her B.S. degree in Dietetics from
the University of Delaware and has over a decade of experience
as a clinical dietitian and educator.
In her role as a DVIF&G nutritional therapist,
Ms. Bennett works closely with Dr. Chung H. Wu, the Institute’s
expert on Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), a leading cause
of infertility. Together they provide patients with individualized
programs to help them lose weight and keep it off in order to
conceive.

| Laurie Miller, BS, RDMS is a highly skilled, board-certified
sonographer with 14 years of experience in the field. Before joining
DVIF&G as a Staff Sonographer, Ms. Miller served as Staff Sonographer
for the division of Maternal Fetal Medicine at Cooper University
Hospital. She received her BS degree from the Thomas Jefferson
College of Allied Health Sciences and has experience in general
ultrasound and other OB/GYN specialties. Ms. Miller also has received
her designation as a Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (SDMS)
Advanced Practice Sonographer (APS) member, the most difficult
and demanding level of clinical recognition to achieve within the
ultrasound profession. |
