Early Pregnancy Ultrasound
The early pregnancy ultrasound scan was initially used to diagnose location, viability, and accurate gestational dates. Improvements in ultrasound resolution over the past decade have made it possible to observe the normal anatomy of the developing embryo and to diagnose a wide range of suspected anatomic and chromosomal abnormalities.
