2. At 11 weeks,
6 days, it's very common to observe the fetal hands around the fetal face, sometimes
covering the face or placing a finger in the mouth.

3. The resolution
of today's ultrasound equipment allows for detailed imaging of very early embryos,
such as this image of a spine at 9 weeks.
4. The feet and hands can be identified as early as 11 weeks.
